Training development and implementation
Ana has facilitated numerous training programmes in over twenty countries. More than seven hundred people from civil society organisations, multilateral organisations, and governmental institutions were trained on education, organisational capacity and programme implementation. We specialise in the development of the training, implementation and evaluation. We pride ourselves for co-creating the training programmes together with the institutions that organise the events, as well as with the participants. This guarantees accuracy in regard to content and provides for meaningful training moments.
Education programmes development
Throughout the years, Ana and collaborators were involved in developing education programmes implemented worldwide. Among these, we can highlight the experience with Early Childhood Education, Basic and Secondary Education, Formal and Non-Formal Education, e-learning, Child Participation, Child Protection, and Education in Emergencies.
Curriculum development
Curriculum development is one of our passions. This is an opportunity to have a long-term impact on the education of children and young people. We have experience in developing curriculum frameworks and curriculum materials for Ministries of Education and other educational institutions such as Curriculum Development Departments and civil society organisations. Such as, in the development of education programmes, we focus on young children up to youth and from formal to non-formal education settings.
project management
Throughout the years, we have implemented multiple projects within programmes in various organisations. We strive to achieve the goals through the careful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and completion of projects. Additionally, we are trained in Project Management for Development Professionals (PMDPro), which gives us access to continuously improved tools and learning.
Network Development and managEment
Most organisations collaborate with others to ensure success and impact. Edukanvas has vast experience in working with international networks of over a hundred partner organisations where the partnership is developed innovatively and effectively. Increasing sustainability in such a model of collaboration is critical for long-term impact. A network is full of strengths and expertise, and our work is to bring out the best in each member to fulfil the goals.
Educational workshops with children and young people
With extensive experience in education, we feel fulfilled by working directly with children. The workshops we develop and implement can have different focuses, from creative workshops, body movement, or co-creation workshops where children and young people participate in the development of programmes aimed at them.
Language services
As part of our work to develop guides and other key documents, we come across translation and proof-reading tasks. We deliver this service separately for the language Portuguese - English, English - Portuguese, Spanish - English, and English - Spanish.
